Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Job Summary
An established and growing restoration company is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help lead the organization through its next phase of growth.
The COO will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to execute the company's strategic vision while overseeing day-to-day operations, driving financial performance, and cultivating a high-performing culture built on accountability, innovation, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a decisive, results-oriented leader with a proven ability to improve operational performance, develop exceptional teams, and implement strategic initiatives that support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO in developing and executing the company's strategic vision and long-term business objectives.
- Oversee the company's daily operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and exceptional customer service.
- Lead and support department leaders across Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and Business Development.
- Drive operational excellence by improving systems, processes, accountability, and overall organizational performance.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure productivity, profitability, and operational success.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and financial performance in collaboration with the CEO.
- Identify opportunities for business growth, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing leadership team while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and operational standards.
- Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, strategic partners, and key stakeholders.
- Provide regular operational updates, recommendations, and performance reporting to the CEO to support informed decision-making.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the CEO, collaborating on major business decisions and organizational planning.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience with demonstrated success leading operations and growing an organization.
- Proven experience improving operational performance, profitability, and organizational efficiency.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing leadership teams.
- Experience establishing and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive accountability and results.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to execute strategic initiatives while maintaining focus on day-to-day operational excellence.
- Experience in the restoration, construction, property services, home services, or related service industry is strongly preferred.

Pay: $135,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
