Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Engineer with a background in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering to lead capital projects and support process development within our manufacturing operations. This role requires strong project management skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive process improvements in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities· Lead the planning, execution, and control of capital projects from concept through implementation· Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery· Coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide remote oversight of project activities at manufacturing sites· Monitor and control project expenditures and performance metrics· Validate new products, equipment, and manufacturing processes· Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs to support mass production· Identify and drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, throughput, and production yield· Provide ongoing technical support and continuous improvement after project completion
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
- 1–5 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing or process environments
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis and data-driven problem-solving
- Being able to work with AI tools.
- Experience with capital equipment projects or process validation is preferred
- Lean Manufacturing certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoDesk Inventor or similar CAD tools (for Mechanical Engineer)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and ability to collaborate across teams and locations
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to a broad range of assignments
Work Travel 15-25%
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
