Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window and Door Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of windows and doors across various residential and commercial projects. Duties
- Install, replace, and repair windows and doors using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation.
- Perform glass installation, frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and fixture installation with accuracy.
- Conduct metal stud framing, door hanging, lock fitting, caulking, and cabinet installation as needed.
- Handle heavy lifting safely while managing multiple projects on construction sites.
- Apply mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting issues related to hardware, locks, or structural components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on window and door installation or repair.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of fabrication processes and metal framing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Familiarity with electrical experience or remodeling projects is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Prior handyman experience or carpentry background is highly desirable.
