This amazing person would also serve as a morning substitute teacher and could potentially work with any age (12 weeks to 5 years old), then as the energetic and charismatic leader of our one-of-a-kind lunch program. During our lunchtime celebrations, children ages 2-5 gather in the dining room to greet each other, learn about their food, and try new and interesting meals. The children bus their own real plates, utensils, and glasses, and empty leftover food into a compost bin, honing those independence skills!
The Little School is a Five Star, full-day preschool and child development center offering a nurturing, exploratory, educational program serving children 12 weeks to five years. Our Reggio inspired campuses in Hillsborough and at Duke University in Durham serve approximately 430 gleeful children. We have many outdoor play spaces where children can discover, run, jump, dig, dance and delight in a safe nurturing environment. We strive to offer the best after-school environment in the Triangle by implementing an approach that nurtures the rights of each child to be constructors of their own learning.
North Carolina Credentials (or equivalent), early childhood education, prior experience in a similar center are a plus. State qualification letter is a plus.
