Central Coast Nannies is hiring experienced nannies and sitters for date-night babysitting, weekends, and special events such as weddings.
We are currently hiring sitters in the Monterey area. If you have weekend availability, we look forward to receiving your application!
How It Works:
Families reach out to Central Coast Nannies when they need a sitter, and we match them with the sitter who is closest and the best fit for the family—it’s an easy match!
Once we receive an inquiry from a family, we reach out to our weekend staff to check availability. We provide all the details upfront, including:
- Number of children
- Date(s)
- Hours needed
- Location
If the assignment works with your schedule and you’re able to commit, we confirm you for the job and finalize your hourly rate. (All assignments are paid in cash.)

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $28.00 - $50.00 per hour
Application Question(s):
- What ages do you have experience with? (this does NOT include children of your own)
- When was your last nanny/babysitting position?
- Will you be in the Monterey area for at least 1 year or longer? How many years?
- Do you have weekend availability? How many weekends per month would you be interested in babysitting? This mainly includes Saturdays (weddings), and the occasional Friday night. You are NOT required to work every weekend assignment.
- How many professional childcare related references would you be able to provide (from the last 5-7 years)?
- Tell me about your professional experience with infants?
- Tell me about your professional experience with ages 1-5?
Experience:
- Professional Babysitting/Nanny: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Infant and Child CPR & First-Aid Certification (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Monterey, CA 93940 (Preferred)
