About the Firm
Foster Immigration (PampaninFoster, LLC) is a boutique immigration law firm providing strategic, detail-driven, and highly personalized legal services to employers, foreign national professionals, individuals, and families. Our practice includes business immigration matters as well as select family-based and individual immigration matters, including F-1 and J-1 matters, marriage-based adjustment of status, and naturalization.
As a boutique practice, we value collaboration, accountability, mentorship, and exceptional client service. Our attorneys work closely with clients and colleagues, gaining meaningful hands-on experience and direct exposure to a broad range of immigration matters.
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 0–2 years of experience to join our growing immigration practice. The ideal candidate is excited to build a career in immigration law, with a primary focus on employment-based matters while also gaining experience in family-based and individual immigration cases. This role is ideal for a junior attorney who is eager to develop strong substantive skills, take ownership of cases, and work closely with experienced attorneys in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment.
We are looking for someone who is intentionally building a career in business immigration, not simply seeking their next attorney position. The successful candidate will be intellectually curious, eager to learn, and excited to grow alongside a team that values mentorship, collaboration, and long-term professional development.
This position is based in our Woburn, Massachusetts office. We believe in-person collaboration is essential for training and professional growth, and associates may be considered for a hybrid work arrangement after six months of successful employment and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-3, PERM, and I-140 matters.

- Draft legal briefs, support letters, and responses to RFEs and NOIDs.
- Conduct legal research and analyze immigration regulations, policy guidance, and case strategy.
- Communicate directly with employers, HR representatives, and foreign national clients.
- Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to manage deadlines and ensure high-quality filings.
- Participate in client meetings and internal strategy discussions.
- Maintain accurate case notes and utilize the firm's case management system.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- A demonstrated interest in immigration law and a desire to build a long-term career with a collaborative boutique practice, with an emphasis on employment-based immigration.
