Clear Ridge Defense is seeking TS/SCI cleared professionals with polygraph to serve as a Senior Cloud Software Engineer in Fort Meade, MD.
Roles and Responsibilities
You will...
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse Big-Data Cloud systems based upon documented requirements.
- Directly contributes to all stages of back-end processing, analyzing, and indexing.
- Provide expertise in Cloud Computing, Hadoop Eco-System including implementing Java applications, Distributed Computing, Information Retrieval (IR), and Object Oriented Design.
- Work individually or as part of a team.
- Review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
- Resolve software problem reports.
- Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
- Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
Must-Haves
You possess...
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- A Top Secret clearance with polygraph.
- Twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
- Experience in: Cloud Big Table, Cloud Distributed File System, MapReduce analytics, Computer Network Operations, VMWare/VirtualBox, programming languages (Ruby/Python).
- A Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science/Mathematics related field.
- An ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace with unique TTPs.
- Experience in SIGINT collection (FORNSAT, CABLE, Terrestrial/Microwave, Overhead, ELINT).
Nice-To-Haves
- Leadership experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Information Retrieval using Cloud technology.

$90,000 - $220,000 / year
Salary ranges provided are subject to the following variables and circumstances, which may impact whether the actual paid salary falls within the range:
- The contract the employee is assigned to support. For example, this advertised position may support multiple contracts.
- The negotiated rates between CRD and our client.
- The option year of the contract the employee is assigned to.
- Annual performance of the employee and/or the company.
- If the employee takes on additional company responsibilities.
