Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new HVAC equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and preventative inspections to maximize efficiency.
- Conduct troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment to identify electrical or mechanical faults.
- Assist with plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems or property maintenance projects.
- Read and interpret schematics for complex HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems including ammonia refrigeration setups.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting work performed for quality assurance and future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician working with construction sites or property maintenance projects.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, appliance repair, welding, and boiler operation.
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, and field service procedures.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices confidently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving <PERSON> vehicles preferred.
- Basic understanding of plumbing systems related to HVAC setups; property maintenance experience is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
