Job Summary:
Cedarwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, a specialized provider of rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and long-term care services, is seeking a compassionate and skilled PCA/MEDTECH to join our team! Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of licensed nurses, including vital signs monitoring, wound care, and assistance with daily living activities
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and outlined in care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
Assist with vital signs monitoring, weight management, and other administrative tasks
Document patient care and interactions accurately and in a timely manner
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
1 years of experience as a PCA/MEDTECH or related healthcare role
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a healthcare field an asset
Current certification as a PCA/MEDTECH or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
