Responsible for developing and executing retail marketing activations across Duty Free channels throughout the Americas, the marketing manager will ensure flawless execution of brand strategies delivering premium shopper experiences that drive brand equity, consumer engagement, and commercial performance.
Retail Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement the annual retail marketing strategy in line with business priorities and brand objectives.
- Build impactful activations to increase brand visibility, shopper engagement, and conversion across airports, border stores, and cruise channels.
- Coordinate and execute product launches, promotional campaigns, visibility initiatives, and permanent installations.
- Ensure flawless execution of all activations, delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Drive retail excellence through regular market visits, execution audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support commercial teams with customer presentations and joint business planning.
Budget Management & Performance Analysis
- Own and manage the regional A&P budget, ensuring effective allocation of investments across brands, customers, and markets.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure financial compliance.
- Analyze sales performance, shopper insights, market trends, and activation effectiveness.
- Develop post-campaign evaluations, ROI analysis, and performance reports.
- Identify opportunities to optimize investments and improve commercial performance through data-driven recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with agencies, production partners, retailers, airport operators, cruise partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Partner closely with Commercial teams to align marketing investments with business priorities and customer opportunities.
- Collaborate with Global Brand teams to adapt international campaigns while ensuring compliance with global brand guidelines.
- Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, and Visual Merchandising teams to deliver successful projects.
- Influence cross-functional teams without direct authority to ensure seamless execution.
Travel:
- travelling is required approximately 20% of the year
Education: Bachelors Degree
Languages: Excellent spoken and written English & Spanish, French is a plus
Professional experience & know how:
- 4 years of relevant experience in wines & spirits or luxury goods industry
- 4 years retail experience ideally in Travel Retail
- In depth experience in managing projects at scale
- Good understanding of luxury brands
