Oversees the provision of therapeutic, diagnostic and rehabilitative services in assigned clinical core area and shift. Ensures quality patient care, cost effectiveness and customer service.

Essential Functions:
- Provides clinical services to assigned patient care area.
- Serves as primary care provider in emergency/trauma areas.
- Introduces and demonstrates new techniques, procedures, protocols, equipment and research findings to the staff.
- Monitors clinical performance indicators. Acts or recommends action to improve performance in deficient areas.
- Completes a minimum of one (1) A3 Lean Process Improvement Project annually.

- Assists in developing department goals and objectives.
- Demonstrates a commitment to patient, visitor and staff by: complying with all applicable safety regulations; learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; reporting actual and potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions; identifying opportunities to standardize processes and "error proof" systems that will lead to increased safety; and participating in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required.
- Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
- Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
- Maintains appropriate records, reports, and files as required.
- Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Associates Degree Required
Work Experience:
- 3 years Relevant experience. Required
- Supervisory experience. Preferred
Licenses:
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist Upon Hire Required and
- Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
