Description:
Ally Psychiatry is seeking a Board-Certified to join our growing behavioral health team in Birmingham, ALABAMA.
The psychiatrist will work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, caring for adult behavioral health patients while helping support and develop advanced practice providers. This position offers a balanced clinical schedule, leadership opportunities, and the support of an established behavioral health organization.

Established patient base and referral network

Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations

Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric treatment

Manage inpatient and outpatient treatment plans

Supervise and collaborate with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners

Work closely with therapists, nursing staff, case managers, and other healthcare professionals

Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Participate in shared call coverage

Requirements:

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

Active Georgia medical license or ability to obtain one

DEA registration or eligibility

Excellent communication and leadership skills
