About the Opportunity
We're an established mobile detailing business with more booked jobs than we can handle. We're looking for an experienced, reliable detailer to take on consistent daily work as an independent contractor. You focus on what you do best — detailing vehicles to a high standard — and we handle everything else: marketing, booking, customer service, payment processing, and scheduling.
This is ideal for an experienced detailer who wants steady income without the headache of running a business, chasing leads, or dealing with customer service. If you're great at the craft but tired of the marketing grind, this is for you.
What We Provide
- Consistent daily job bookings (3-5 jobs per day available)
- All customer acquisition, scheduling, and communication
- Branded apparel for jobs
- Specialty products and consumables (ceramic coatings, premium chemicals when applicable)
- Weekly direct deposit payments — no chasing customers for money
- Detailed job sheets so you know exactly what's expected before you arrive
- Professional dispatch system
What You Provide
- Your own reliable vehicle to transport equipment to job sites
- Basic detailing equipment: pressure washer, wet/dry vacuum, polisher, water tank or access to water source, extension cords, basic tool kit
- General liability insurance ($1M minimum) with our business listed as additional insured
- Smartphone for job dispatch app and photo documentation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Professional appearance and attitude
Compensation Breakdown (Per Job)
- Basic wash: $51-$63
- Standard interior detail: $75-$120
- Full interior and exterior detail: $90-$225
- Ceramic coating applications: $300-$500
- Add-on services and tips paid in full to you
Paid weekly via direct deposit. As a 1099 contractor, you're responsible for your own taxes.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional detailing experience
- Demonstrated portfolio of work (before/after photos)
- Own transportation and core equipment
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable and punctual — customers expect us on time, every time
- Strong attention to detail (it's in the name)
- Professional customer-facing demeanor
- Available at least 4 days per week, including some weekends
A Few Important Notes
This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not employment. You'll sign a standard contractor agreement that includes non-circumvention and non-solicitation provisions — meaning customers booked through us remain our customers. We take this seriously and it will be enforced. In exchange, you get consistent work without spending a dollar on marketing.
We're looking to build a long-term working relationship with the right person. Our first hire will have the opportunity to grow into a lead contractor role as we scale.
