American Traveler is seeking an experienced Senior Endoscopy Tech with 3+ years of GI/Endoscopy experience and strong scope reprocessing skills for a 13-week outpatient endoscopy center assignment in Mission Hills, CA.

Standalone outpatient endoscopy center in Mission Hills, CA
-
3-room facility performing 34–36 procedures daily with 3 Gastroenterologists
-
Monday–Friday day shifts, 7:00–15:30; no weekends, holidays, or on-call required

Patient population includes ASA Class 1, 2, and 3
-
Procedures include upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, polypectomy, biopsy, PEG placement, banding, balloon dilation, Bravo, and X-track
-
Scope experience required: colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, fiber optics, and flex sigmoidoscopes

Preferred equipment includes Olympus CV-190 processor, CLV-190 light source, 190-series scopes, CO2 insufflator, Erbe cautery/ESU, and Olympus OER Pro reprocessor

Epic EMR experience required; ProVation experience preferred

Minimum 3 years of endoscopy center or GI lab experience required

SGNA education completion or CST certification required, with at least 3 years of endoscopy experience

Strong high-level disinfection (HLD) and scope reprocessing skills required

Current BLS certification required

Epic EMR experience required

Active professional license required if applicable

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration

SSN and DOB required for consideration

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Perform scope reprocessing and high-level disinfection of all procedural equipment

Back table setup and room setup experience preferred

Local candidates are accepted for this position

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of this facility

All RTO requests must be disclosed upfront; requests made after submission or offer may be denied

Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
