We are seeking an exceptional educator to join our growing team—someone who has a genuine passion for literacy, children's literature, and language, inspires young learners, and brings creativity, enthusiasm, and warmth into the classroom.
This position includes teaching elementary English Language Arts within our homeschool program and the opportunity to provide one-to-one afternoon tutoring. Our instructional model emphasizes small-group instruction, individualized learning, and meaningful relationships that allow every student to thrive.
Position OverviewMorning Program (8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)
- Teach English Language Arts to students in Grades 1–5.
- Differentiate instruction for small, readiness-based groups.
- Deliver explicit, systematic, evidence-based instruction in foundational literacy, spelling, writing, vocabulary, fluency, and reading comprehension.
- Foster curiosity, confidence, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of reading and writing.
- Collaborate with a supportive team of educators.

Preferred Qualifications
- Florida teaching certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Reading, English, Language Arts, or a related field.
- Experience teaching elementary English Language Arts preferred.
- Knowledge of the Science of Reading, structured literacy, and evidence-based reading instruction is highly desirable.
- Experience differentiating instruction for diverse learners is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Compensation
- $25–$28 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Full-time preferred; part-time applicants are also encouraged to apply.
- Optional one-to-one afternoon tutoring opportunities are available.
