Duties
- Greet customers warmly, offering assistance and answering questions to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts processing
- Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current inventory
- Assist with stocking, organizing, and cleaning the sales floor to uphold a tidy shopping environment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Support supervising staff in overseeing daily store operations, including inventory management and stock replenishment
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Experience in supervising or leading team members is advantageous
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product demos to boost sales performance
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
