Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our vibrant property management team. Duties
- Assist in managing lease or rental agreements, ensuring accuracy and timely renewal processes
- Support property leasing activities by conducting tours, screening applicants, and coordinating move-ins and move-outs
- Maintain property management software such as Yardi and OneSite for data entry, rent collection, and reporting
- Handle client communication with professionalism, addressing inquiries promptly and resolving conflicts effectively
- Support budgeting processes, expense tracking, and financial reporting to optimize property performance
- Coordinate property maintenance requests with vendors and facilities management teams to ensure timely resolution
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Landlord-Tenant Law, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and Section 8 programs
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles, with familiarity using property management tools like Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS systems
- Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and lease or rental agreement management
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict management and negotiation confidently
- Office experience including data entry, filing, Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective team management skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and client engagement
- Knowledge of property maintenance procedures, facilities management practices, and basic budgeting principles
