Key Responsibilities
The Medical Aesthetician will play a vital role in patient care and daily clinical operations, including:
- Maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
- Creating a welcoming, positive experience for every patient.
- Performing aesthetic treatments such as facials, HydraFacials, dermaplaning, SkinPen microneedling, and laser services.
- Serving as a skincare expert, providing personalized product recommendations, treatment plans, and ongoing patient education.
- Staying current with industry advancements and participating in continuing education, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Taking high‑quality before and after photos.
- Applying topical numbing when appropriate.
- Preparing treatment quotes and ensuring patients review and sign them prior to services.
- Confirming all consents are signed and saved in the EMR before treatment.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment room.
- Sterilizing equipment and ensuring all sanitation protocols are followed.
- Returning patient calls and answering questions in a timely, professional manner.
