Job Overview
We are seeking a warm, dependable, and collaborative preschool teacher to join our Preschool Room serving children ages 3–5.
About Our School
Woods Hole Daycare Cooperative is a small, play-based early childhood program rooted in joy, curiosity, kindness, and community. Founded in 1980 by local families and run as a cooperative, our school has long been a warm and nurturing place where children, teachers, and families form meaningful and lasting relationships.
We are fortunate to have an exceptionally caring and deeply engaged parent community, a collaborative teaching team, and remarkably low staff turnover. Teachers here are genuinely valued and supported, and many staff members have been with the Coop for years — even decades.
We value sustainable teaching practices and believe caring for teachers is essential to caring well for children. Our classrooms are intentionally kept small, allowing teachers to build strong relationships with children and create a calm, connected, and responsive learning environment.
The Coop is located in a beautiful historic building overlooking Eel Pond in the quaint village of Woods Hole — a truly special setting for children and teachers alike.
