Summary:
Set up and operate processing equipment for batch production
Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Operations:
- Maintain a safe, clean work area at all times. Responsible for donning task-specific PPE for EHS and GMP.
- Set up and operate processing equipment for batch production – follow PPS instructions & ensure cleaning and sanitizing procedures are followed.
- Perform line service duties – transport material to filling lines, hook up direct feed filling lines, yield material on the computer systems.
- Operate powered vehicles such as fork trucks to transport materials within the plant.
- Interface with HMI and hand-held scanners to operate equipment and electronic documentation of activities.
Central Weigh Operations:
- Maintain a safe, clean work area at all times. Responsible for donning task-specific PPE for EHS and GMP.
- Weigh raw materials on computerized scales according to SOP.
- Document all raw material information properly, including lot numbers and batch numbers to ensure lot traceability
- Assemble weighed raw materials into “kitted” batches – ensure that all paperwork is matched up properly and that all raw materials are included on each batch.
- Properly account for all material used in the department – incoming containers, re-weighed containers, and restocked materials.
- Interface with computers and hand-held scanners to operate equipment and electronic documentation of activities.
- Operate powered vehicle material handling equipment as needed.
Qulifications:
- Basic written, oral, and mathematical skills.
- Basic computer skills (ex: email, data entry, hand-held scanners).
- Must be able to meet the company's forklift license certification requirements.
- Must meet vision, hearing, and respirator requirements.
- Must be available to work overtime.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and to climb a ladder and steps.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and to maneuver containers weighing up to 400 lbs.
Pay: $26.00 per hour
