Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Presser to join our dry cleaning team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for expertly pressing and finishing garments to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Your work will help deliver crisp, professional-looking clothing that delights our customers and keeps our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities
- Operate pressing machines and equipment efficiently to press a variety of garments including suits, dresses, shirts, and trousers
- Ensure all items are pressed to meet quality standards, removing wrinkles and restoring garments to their best appearance
- Handle customer garments with care, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism throughout the process
- Assist with laundry and dry cleaning processes as needed to support overall shop operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area to promote safety and efficiency
- Accurately process transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties when required
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate workflow and ensure timely completion of orders
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or dry cleaning environments is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is valued
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with laundry or dry cleaning processes is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills to create a positive experience for clients
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Basic cleaning skills to maintain a tidy work area
