Physical Therapist (PT)
Pay Rate: $60-$65 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 35 Hours per Week | Monday-Friday
Weekend Requirement: None
Setting: Skilled Nursing / Rehabilitation Facility (99-Bed Facility)
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team at a well-established 99-bed healthcare facility. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekend rotation, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining work-life balance.
The Physical Therapist will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and enhance quality of life for patients across a variety of diagnoses and rehabilitation needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise programs, manual therapy techniques, and functional mobility training
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Ensure adherence to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards of practice
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state Physical Therapist license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and rehabilitation principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
