Position Overview:
This role assists with clinical procedures, prepares treatment rooms, ensures proper sterilization of instruments, and helps create a comfortable experience for patients. You will work closely with the doctor and dental team to maintain efficient workflow and excellent patient service.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assisting our dentists with expanded functions (prior experience preferred)
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Digital scanning for digital impressions
- Building real connections with patients in a calm, welcoming setting
- Supporting smooth clinic operations with excellent clinical and computer skills
- Being a key part of a team that shows up with positivity and professionalism every day
- Work schedule involves splitting time between our Madison (Odana) and DeForest offices each week
What we are looking for:
- Proven leadership experience within a dental office setting
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills between co-workers, providers, patients, and affiliates
- Complete tasks efficiently and error free with attention to detail, including phone conversations and in-person interactions
- Perform daily functions using Desco, Dexis, Office 365, and office equipment
- Preferred: Knowledgeable in most aspects of dentistry, including dental terminology, scheduling based on flow of specified appointment type, treatment planning, cost of treatment and insurance benefits
- Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Preferred: At least 1 year of prior experience in the dental field
