Angeline's Louisiana Kitchen is seeking a lead line cook who would have closing and supervisory responsibilities. Must be able to work all stations (sauté, fry, pantry) and have PM availability. The ideal candidate will be able to work very well in a team and lead others in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will also be organized, experienced, and detail oriented. Knowledge of Cajun cuisine is a plus but not a necessity. Basic understanding of Spanish is helpful.
Basic responsibilities include:
- Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance with standards set by the Chef
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food on the line
- Food preparation and portioning prior to service
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
- Ability to lift 60 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Supervising the PM close
- Expediting the line during the dinner shift
