Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to meet health standards.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
- Maintain floor care by performing deep cleaning, polishing, and ensuring surfaces are free of dirt and debris.
- Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or appliances safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Use janitorial and custodial experience to operate cleaning equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled windows while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary, such as patio or porch cleaning, ensuring the entire property is well-maintained.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management with familiarity in janitorial or custodial roles.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management capabilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
- Customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Experience with cleaning detergents and understanding proper usage for different surfaces.
- Prior experience in outdoor work environments is a plus but not mandatory.
