Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling, preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and efficiently during shifts
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and sales tracking
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly
- Culinary experience or understanding of food preparation enhances service quality
- Effective time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in bussing tables, host/host duties, or nightclub service is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members seamlessly within a fast-paced environment
