Red Book Connect is currently seeking a Local Business Sales Manager to join our Sales organization. The manager will work directly with a team of Local Sales Executives to drive business in the independent restaurant market (1-15 unit operations). The Local Business Sales Manager will be responsible to developing a team of 10 – 12 Local Executives.
The Local Business Sales Manager will:
- Coach, teach and mentor team members to successfully achieve sales quota quarter over quarter.
- Develop a territory sales plan that allows us to aggressively prospect and sell into successful restaurant businesses.
- Promote a culture of service, sales excellence and goal attainment.
- Develop a coverage model that ensures maximum reach into assigned territory.
- Bring an entrepreneurial spirit to growing and leading a successful sales organization.
As a Local Business Sales Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Manage team members who remotely sell Red Book Connect products by means of phone calls, hosting web-overviews, customer references, etc.
- Accurately forecast business month over month.
- Drive month over month sales growth.
- Ensure consistent deal execution cycles.
- Manage and coach day to day deal cycles with reps.
- Perform employee reviews and complete employee development plans.
- Manage escalations.
- Participate in key deals.
- Work within Salesforce.com with 100% accuracy.
Performance for a Local Business Sales Manager will be measured by:
- Achieving or surpassing your monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Year over year sales growth.
- Job knowledge, including knowledge of the product as well as all software and processes used to sell Red Book Connect products.
- Sales Rep retention and development.
- Providing knowledge, insight and solutions to other team members while upholding the company culture and core values.
- Demonstrate a passion for customers and a commitment to service and excellence.

Job Requirements
- 5 years Sales experience.
- 2+ Years of Sales Management experience.
- College Degree – Business major preferred.
- High sales aptitude.
- Restaurant operations experience or experience selling into restaurants (strongly weighted).
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Fast learner, adept at understanding and articulating new technologies and corresponding value propositions.
- Energetic, creative, organized, and self-motivated individuals. ability to deliver on business commitments.
