Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Psychological Associate or Postdoctoral Psychological Associate to join our dynamic mental health team. Your expertise will support individuals of all ages—children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics—by delivering evidence-based interventions, conducting assessments, and fostering positive mental health outcomes. Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and psychological testing, to inform treatment planning.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral health interventions, and psychotherapy tailored to client needs.
- Deliver crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute mental health issues or trauma, including PTSD care and working with individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Manage intake procedures, maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, and document patient progress thoroughly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, medical staff, educators, and caregivers—to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
- Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to expand access to mental health services while ensuring patient confidentiality and data security.
- Engage in ongoing research activities or quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical outcomes and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Possession of valid licensure or certification as a Psychological Associate or equivalent credential; eligible for licensure as a psychologist in the state.
- Demonstrated experience working with children and families in clinical settings; familiarity with school-based mental health programs preferred.
- Proven skills in crisis intervention, behavioral health management, and managing complex cases involving trauma or PTSD.
- Experience providing psychotherapy across inpatient and outpatient environments; hospital experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), addiction counseling, psychotherapeutic techniques, and diagnostic evaluation methods.
- Proficiency in conducting psychological testing and assessments for diverse populations including individuals with autism spectrum disorder or disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for patient care coordination, documentation, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
- Telehealth experience is preferred; familiarity with HIPAA compliance and electronic medical records systems is essential.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals across age groups—pediatrics to geriatrics—and in various settings such as social work environments or outpatient clinics.
