Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines, including proper food handling techniques.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
- Contribute to menu planning by providing input on seasonal dishes and specials.
Skills
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings.
- Proficient in meal preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
