Responsibilities
- Perform cycle counts- all materials on site including warehouse parts, pipe, fabricated fittings, EPC material
- Perform weekly raw material cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Keep accurate inventory of fab heater plates and inserts
- Root cause investigation of inventory discrepancies to determine proper corrective action, not just disposition
- Yard organization including segregation of EPC material and organizing at points closest to use
- Monitor for safe stacking and storage of product and correct immediately and report the incident
- Determine origin of materials with non-conforming packaging and communicate to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure that materials in storage and leaving the facility conform to ISCO's packaging standards.
- Manage NCR and RGA products for segregation and disposition
- Participate as a lead player in related continuous improvement/Lean initiatives that involve inventory related processes
- Track inventory movements, optimize storage spaces in yard and warehouse racks
- Analyze inaccuracy trends and report recommendations to plant management for process changes or improvements or training
- Expedite shortages and replacement of missing parts and track until receipt and delivered to the appropriate department in coordination with shipping/receiving
- Utilize Prelude ERP to maintain accurate transactions of material movement
- Fill in for shipping/receiving warehouse and yard personal when absences occur
- Assist plant management with scrap requests
- Assist OPS Admin with material allocations (Work Orders)
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Partner with plant management to enforce inventory control procedures
- Active involvement in the ISCO NCR process when inventory issues are related
- Implement best inventory control practices
Education/Experience
- 5 years experience in inventory control and or materials management
- High school diploma minimum
