We are seeking a Skilled Talent Recruiter to identify, recruit, and place qualified candidates for skilled and semi-skilled light industrial positions. While our office receives a steady flow of applicants for general labor roles, this position focuses on sourcing higher-skilled talent to meet client needs in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, and distribution environments.
Pay: $20/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and source candidates for positions such as forklift operators, machineoperators, welders, maintenance technicians, shipping and receiving personnel, andother skilled industrial roles.
- Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, and jobrequirements.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through job boards, referrals, networking, socialmedia, and community outreach.
- Partner with sales and operations teams to understand client hiring needs.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including background checks, drug screens, and orientation scheduling.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS.
- Follow up with employees and clients to support successful placements and retention.
- Support recruiting efforts for general labor positions when needed.
- Conduct client site visits to gain a thorough understanding of job duties and workenvironments.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition experience preferred.
- Light industrial or manufacturing recruiting experience strongly preferred.
- Strong interviewing, sourcing, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with ATS platforms, job boards, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Primarily office-based with travel to client locations as needed.
- Must be willing to visit manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution facilities to observe
Job duties and workplace conditions:
- Ability to stand and walk through industrial environments for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Exposure to varying industrial environments, including noise, temperature fluctuations, and required PPE.
