Under the general supervision of the Director of Academic Human Resources and the Director of HR Operations and Fiscal Affairs, this position performs professional-level work in support of academic human resources data analysis, reporting, operations, and fiscal functions. Responsibilities include collecting, compiling, validating, and analyzing faculty-related data to support institutional reporting, compliance requirements, and operational decision-making. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations; ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across HR systems.
Assist in HR operational functions, including workflow coordination, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional project support. Provide support for HR fiscal activities, including budget tracking, position control, workforce planning, and cost analysis. Support audits, compliance reviews, and preparation of reports and materials for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with HR leadership and campus partners to support effective administration of academic human resources programs and ensure alignment with institutional policies, regulatory requirements, and the University’s mission and values.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Banner, PeopleAdmin, or similar systems).
- Data visualization and storytelling techniques.
Skill:
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Database management and reporting

Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business/Public Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience or Training:
- 2 or more years of experience in HR, data analysis, or a similar role (higher-education experience is preferred).
Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certifications:
Travel may be required for various off-site meetings, trainings, conferences, and/or events in support of the overall objective of the position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a private higher education and HR environment.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with reporting requirements for higher education institutions (e.g., IPEDS, EEO-1).
- Knowledge of employment law and university HR policies.

Data Management, Analysis, and Reporting (Academic HR & HR Operations/Fiscal):

- Develop and maintain dashboards, data visualizations, reports, and presentations to support academic human resources and HR operations/fiscal leadership needs.
- Deliver data for institutional reporting requirements (e.g., IPEDS, state and federal reports), accreditation, and executive decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across HR systems.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations, Policy, and Process Improvement (Academic HR & HR Operations/Fiscal):
- Support HR operations across both academic HR and centralized HR operations/fiscal functions, including workflow coordination, process improvement initiatives, and implementation of best practices.
- Partner with both Directors and HR leadership to evaluate, develop, and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Fiscal, Compliance, and Workforce Planning Support (HR Operations/Fiscal & Academic HR):
- Assist with HR fiscal and workforce functions, including budget tracking, position control, workforce planning, and cost analysis in support of both academic and operational HR needs.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, accreditation requirements, and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure alignment with institutional policies, employment regulations, and university standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination and Executive Support (Academic HR & HR Operations/Fiscal):
- Coordinate and support HR projects, initiatives, and strategic priorities led by both the Director of Academic Human Resources and the Director of HR Operations and Fiscal Affairs.
- Provide operational and administrative support, including preparation of briefings, reports, presentations, and special projects.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support implementation of HR initiatives across both functional areas. Perform other duties as assigned.
