Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes
- Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, current symptoms, and relevant health information
- Conduct basic patient assessments including vitals such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates
- Prepare patients for chiropractic examinations and procedures by explaining processes clearly and ensuring comfort
- Maintain accurate documentation using medical terminology and detailed notes in patient records
- Support chiropractors during adjustments by handing necessary tools and ensuring proper positioning of patients
- Educate patients on post-treatment care, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery outcomes
Skills
- Strong patient service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that puts patients at ease
- Solid knowledge of physiology and anatomy to understand treatment plans and assist effectively
- Ability to perform patient assessment tasks accurately and efficiently
- Proficiency in medical terminology for clear documentation and communication within the healthcare team
- Experience with patient intake procedures, including collecting comprehensive health histories
- In-depth understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to chiropractic care
