This position aids the Office of Residential and Campus Life. The student assistants facilitate administrative tasks that support the Office of Residential and Campus Life in the delivery of quality and effective programs to complement and support the academic and social success of students. This position also works closely with Student Activities, Residence Life, Professional Staff members, peers, as well as potential outside venders to develop, implement, and maintain a commitment to successful student support.

Responsibilities
¿Greet guests, assist with minor requests, guide them to various offices for major requests.
¿Answer phone calls, transfer phone calls, take phone messages for the Office of Residence Life, Office of Student Engagement, and Executive Assistant to the Vice President when needed.
¿Pick up mail, sort mail, routinely replenish supplies in designated areas, run errands around campus, and put up/take down flyers.
¿Assist all Student Affairs professional staff as needed with event preparations and other projects
¿Make copies, scan copies, fax copies, and file paperwork.
¿Open and closes office suite, depending on shift (if applicable) and other duties as assigned.
¿Keeping our office organized and presentable, making the office a friendly environment.
¿Answer housing lockouts.
¿Make phone calls to students when necessary.
Required Qualifications

¿Enrolled at GSW in at least 12 credit hours
¿In good standings with the University
