Duties
- Assist with food preparation, presentation, and serving at off-site events, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained.
- Coordinate event logistics by setting up marketing materials, decorations, and necessary equipment at off-site events.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, answering inquiries, and addressing special dietary needs with professionalism and care.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently during events, maintaining a friendly demeanor and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with managers and kitchen staff to manage food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
- Support the planning process by liaising with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and special requests for upcoming events.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas before, during, and after events to uphold hygiene standards in line with food industry regulations.
Experience
- Must have an sense of urgency and highly detail oriented.
- A current driver's license is a must as you will be driving our van around.
- Previous experience in off-site/catering is highly desirable.
- Strong background in customer service within hospitality or food service environments.
- Serve Safe Food Handler preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety practices.
- Familiarity with dietary accommodations is a plus.
- Restaurant or food industry experience that demonstrates excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Barista experience or hospitality background that highlights ability to work efficiently under pressure.
