Full Job Description
Coldstone Transport is hiring a full-time dump truck driver and/or lead, or gravel train drivers to haul sand, gravel, and asphalt, and scrap metal. Dump Experience preferred. Local work only. Must be willing to work some Saturdays. We are also looking for seasonal drivers at higher hourly wage offers
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials to and from construction sites.
- Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate delivery schedules and material needs.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities and types of materials transported.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while operating heavy machinery on construction sites.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
- Must be willing to drive a manual transmission or learn to drive one.
- Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
