As a Child Life Specialist, you will collaborate closely with patients, families, the interdisciplinary care team, and fellow child life specialists to provide compassionate, patient-centered support throughout the surgical experience. This highly valued role within the multidisciplinary surgery team focuses on enhancing the patient experience by reducing fear and anxiety, promoting effective coping strategies, and supporting emotional well-being before, during, and after surgery.
