"**Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)**
**Job Summary:**
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate, patient-centered care by assisting patients and residents with activities of daily living while supporting the nursing team. The CNA monitors patient conditions, promotes comfort and safety, and helps maintain a clean, therapeutic environment in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
**Requirements:**
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice.
- Current BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy.
- Recent experience in long-term care (LTC), skilled nursing (SNF), rehabilitation, hospital, or acute care preferred.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
- Obtain and document vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other assigned observations.
- Assist with patient transfers, positioning, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition to the licensed nurse.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment while following infection prevention and safety standards.
- Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support quality patient care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and facility policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned. "
