Duties
- Lead the installation of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems according to schematics and design specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical systems, plumbing connections, and mechanical components using hand tools, ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic tools
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to ensure precise system setup and compliance with safety standards
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to optimize performance and extend system lifespan
- Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs on complex systems involving electrical controls and automation components
- Train and supervise field technicians on installation procedures, safety protocols, and troubleshooting techniques
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports, system diagnostics, and repair logs
Skills
- Extensive construction experience with HVAC system installation and property maintenance
- Proven service technician experience with HVAC system repair and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, and building automation systems
- Skilled in plumbing, electrical diagnostics
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R equipment repair including boilers and mechanical systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, welding equipment, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems efficiently while providing excellent customer service
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerants; experience with electrical systems diagnostics is essential
- Experience working with HVAC/R equipment repair in commercial or industrial settings; field service background preferred
- Knowledge of appliance repair techniques related to air conditioning units and other mechanical appliances
- Strong mechanical skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for local travel to job sites

Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
