Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. The EMT will be responsible for safely transporting patients from point of pickup to destination while providing exceptional patient care and adhering to all safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Transport patients promptly and responsibly between medical facilities and other locations.
- Provide high-quality patient care and maintain professionalism at all times.
- Complete accurate and Medicare-compliant run reports at the end of each shift.
- Conduct daily ambulance inspections with EMT Supervisors and report any supply shortages or vehicle issues.
- Maintain ambulance cleanliness and ensure vehicles are fueled and ready for the next shift.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and partners during each call.
- Submit work availability schedules monthly by the 28th.
- Follow company attendance and communication protocols, including notifying the office if a partner cannot be reached.
- Lift and assist with loads up to 350 lbs with partner assistance.
Qualifications:
- Current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
- Physically capable of performing all EMT duties.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and care.
- Prior field or ambulance experience preferred.
Work Schedule:
- Typical Start Time: 4 AM
- Typical End Time: 9 PM
- Must be available for rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- On-site position (not remote).
COVID-19 Precautions:
- PPE provided or required.
- Temperature screenings and sanitization procedures in place.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
