American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel assignment at a rural community acute care hospital in New Mexico, with nights schedule and occasional charge nurse responsibilities.

Covers adult Med/Surg, pediatric Med/Surg, and PCU patient populations

Pediatric admissions are possible

Typical patient ratio of 5:1 with Avel tele-intensivist support available

Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

13-week contract

Active NM RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS and PALS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Occasional charge nurse duties are required

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is not required but is considered a helpful asset
