About Us
Safe Haven Play Café is a family-focused indoor play café designed to provide a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable space for children and their caregivers. We combine a specialty coffee café with a clean, engaging play environment where families can relax, connect, and create memories.
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and experienced Barista to join our team.
Requirements
Barista experience is required.
Ideal candidates will:
- Have previous barista experience in a coffee shop or café setting
- Be comfortable preparing espresso-based beverages
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Be dependable, punctual, and professional
- Enjoy working with children and families
- Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Be comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system
- Be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and specialty beverages
- Take customer orders and process payments
- Maintain a clean and organized café workspace
- Restock ingredients, cups, and supplies
- Assist guests with open play check-in and admissions
- Answer questions about memberships, birthday parties, events, and café offerings
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the facility
- Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer experiences
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with espresso machines and milk steaming
- Food service experience
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
