Duties
- Lead and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching to uphold cleanliness standards and operational excellence
- Conduct regular inspections to verify that cleaning procedures meet quality and safety requirements
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, laundry services, and custodial equipment to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee laundry operations, ensuring timely and proper handling of guest linens and staff uniforms
- Enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for staff and guests
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or event setups as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or hotel environment
- Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership and operational management
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures including commercial cleaning techniques and laundry processes
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
