Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in a dynamic kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and contribute to an efficient kitchen operation.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to set recipes
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies
- Help with cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment
Requirements
- Experience in a kitchen environment or culinary education is preferred
-Experience in a Sushi environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Familiarity with various cooking methods and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work in different stations within the kitchen
