## Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Paraprofessional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various counseling areas and be passionate about helping individuals overcome mental health challenges. The Paraprofessional will work in the Core Community Mental Health Program.
## Duties
Candidate will complete progress notes within 48 hours after client visit.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, client-centered therapy, and insight-oriented therapy. Motivational interviewing and group therapy
- Work with children and individuals and provide direct support as needed
- Manage cases effectively and provide ongoing support through case management
## Experience
- Previous experience in mental health counseling or related field
- Familiarity with working with diverse populations and addressing a wide range of mental health issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
