Pool Manager, Food & Beverage Manager, Banquet Manager, or General Manager
The Snack Bar Server is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional service to club members and their guests in a casual dining environment. This position ensures prompt food and beverage service while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and the high service standards expected at a private country club. The Snack Bar Server helps create a welcoming atmosphere and an enjoyable dining experience for all members and guests.
- Greet members and guests promptly with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the club's POS system.
- Prepare and serve beverages and simple food items as assigned.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring order accuracy.
- Monitor dining areas and respond quickly to member requests.
- Maintain knowledge of the snack bar menu, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
- Process member charges accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snack bar, dining area, beverage stations, and work areas.
- Restock food, beverages, paper products, condiments, and supplies throughout each shift.
- Complete all assigned opening, running, and closing side work accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with pool and special club events as needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and alcohol service regulations.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure timely service.
- Report equipment issues, supply shortages, or member concerns to management promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Uphold the club's standards of professionalism, hospitality, and confidentiality.
- Previous customer service or restaurant experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic cash handling and POS system experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Flexible schedule required, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Availability during peak golf, pool, and club seasons is expected.
