We are looking for part-time team members who are passionate about the hobby of backyard bird feeding. Share your bird feeding passion with nature-loving customers. And best of all, team members receive an employee discount to support their bird feeding hobby.
Schedules:
- Two to four days per week
- 4-hour shifts (10am-2pm, 12pm-4pm, 2pm-6pm)
- 6-hour shifts required on occasion
- 8-hour shifts also available
- Every other weekend required
Job Requirements:
- Love feeding the birds – bird feeding experience required
- Enjoy talking to people
- Possess good listening skills
- Reliable
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Scheduling flexibility – scheduled days and shifts vary from week to week
- Able to touch-type (speed is not important, accuracy is critical)
- Part-time position
- No previous sales experience required

Duties:
- Ensuring a great customer experience
- Assisting customers with their purchase decisions
- Answering customers' bird feeding questions
- Working with customers to resolve their bird feeding concerns
- Sharing your bird feeding expertise
- Ringing up customer purchases on the point-of-sale computer
- Carrying seed and large purchases to the customer’s vehicle
- Restocking merchandise
- Processing incoming deliveries of merchandise
- Re-bagging of seed and other bird food products
- Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the store
