We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Psychiatrist (MD/DO) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our expanding outpatient mental health practice on a part-time basis. Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Monitor treatment progress and adjust medications as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with therapists and other members of the treatment team to provide coordinated care
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record
- Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards of practice
Qualifications:
Psychiatrist
- MD or DO with completion of an accredited psychiatry residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (preferred)
- Active and unrestricted state medical license
- DEA registration
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing
- Current PMHNP certification
- Active and unrestricted state APRN license with prescriptive authority
- DEA registration
