Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation.
- Manage guest requests promptly, resolving issues with professionalism to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to POS protocols like OpenTable for reservations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to build guest rapport.
- Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills during busy shifts.
- Familiarity with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations within the food industry.
Pay: $2.00 - $2.50 per hour
