Responsibilities
- Safely operate company van.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, maintaining punctuality and accuracy in deliveries.
- Load and unload merchandise using proper heavy lifting techniques, ensuring safety for yourself and others.
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Help prepare orders for shipping. Cleaning cushions, stuffing pillows cases and bagging the orders.
- Maintain daily accurate records when you departed, location delivered and when you arrived.
- Follow all safety protocols related to automobile transportation, heavy lifting, and route driving to ensure a secure work environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving or route driving with a strong understanding of traffic laws.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques to ensure proper product presentation during deliveries.
- Organizational skills to manage schedules, routes, and delivery documentation efficiently.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
